hi all! :) well today we had mason's two month dr. appointment and all looks great...the dr. was very impressed with the size of our not so little one :) he is now 14 pounds and 2 ounces! the dr.'s exact words were "God bless him!" haha, he is one healthy baby boy and we were so happy to hear everything is great! he was a trooper and only screamed for a few (long to us) seconds when he got his shots....brent had to help hold him down for that....i didn't watch but he is a strong little guy...he fell right asleep as soon as brent put him in my arms...*that makes a mom feel good* :) I just can't put into words how much i love being a mommy....and how incredible it is having mason in our home...brent and i are loving every second of this and I don't want to forget any of it!!! last night about 3am, brent said to me, it'll be kind of sad when we're not up like this in the night anymore :) and i did agree with him...even at 3am we're still loving it, however when mason does make it through the night, that will be great too! haha! (he's getting closer and closer!) i'm trying to write down all kinds of things so i can have it to look back on later....they grow sooo fast! :( i don't want him to get big yet...but it's sure exciting seeing him grow, start to laugh, smile, coo, etc :) everything along the way is just amazing!!! I am so thankful for our family....God has blessed us with one awesome son!!!!!!!! here are just a few things i want to always remember....
**the way mason puts his little arms on my shoulder and rests his head on them while snuggling in my neck
**the way he smiles when he hears his mommy or daddy's voice
**how when he gets excited his arms and legs start going crazy
**how he laughs and smiles to himself while laying in his bed (one great baby he is!!:))...we're still working on getting a really good smiling picture...he freezes when he sees the camera!
**how i see his daddy in him everyday!
** okay...i could go on and on, but i'll stop there! :) here are lots of pictures (our cat wishes he was a baby too, i think) sorry i had to ramble a bit this time, i don't blog often so when i do, i have lots to catch up on....we're loving being parents, and are soo thankful for God's blessings in our lives!!!! we love you all. love Brent, Jess and Mason

I'm crying reading your sweet blog Jess....those new mommy hormones..you never know! :) Mason is as lucky to have you as a Mommy as I am to have you as my bestest friend. I miss you like crazy and think of you every day. Can't wait to get those precious boys together!

Thanks for the great pics. It is so nice to beable to see this great boy even though I am so far away. Kind of keeps us in the loop. I am so proud of this beautiful great grandchild. He is a lucky boy to have you both. I love you.
