weekend recap...

sleepless nights...fevers...deep coughs...urgent care visit...hospital stay...home sweet home! well, that's the short version of our weekend! mason & cash have been battling what we thought to be a normal cold, but found out was RSV...which, in most kids and adults, is the common cold. however, the virus can be difficult for infants...and in cash's case...it was.

mase conquered his RSV in about 48 hours with just the deep cough persisting...which is normal. cash on the other hand, struggled for a few days with a low-grade fever...which spiked early Sunday morning at 102...yikes! so, we took him into the all-night urgent care. it got a little scary when they called an ambulance within 2 minutes of our arrival and sent us to phx childrens hospital.

once there, we found out that his oxygen levels were a little low, but his fever was gone (lots of answered prayers in the last 36 hours). due to this one factor, they admitted cash to monitor his levels. after a full day and night, we were allowed to take our little man home this morning at 10:30 am.

it's been great getting to have the whole family together again this morning and afternoon! god is so good and has answered so many prayers this weekend! thank you to everyone who was a part of lifting our family up in prayer this weekend...you will never know how grateful we are! cash is home and sleeping soundly...for now :)

Lord, thank you for answered prayer!

I'm so sorry to hear about Cash & Mase. This must be going around as Gabby can't seem to get rid of her RSV either. Luckily no hospital stay but lots sleepless nights and we did crash at mom and dad's last weekend when Bella's fever was almost 103 so I guess when Papa's a doc it's helps with house calls! We love you guys and hopefully when all the kiddos get well we can get together...Lots of Love and Prayers!
