once a month...doing good :)

hi all...I was sad to see my last post was March 30th...didn't realize it had been that long, so I decided I HAD to post one tonight before I hit the hay. (we all know that will be shortly as it is 8:15 already) HA. well let's see...there's been lots going on lately, and we're sure keeping busy but things are going great. we're really trying to cherish this time the three of us, before another little one is added to the mix.

First things First...MASON IS MOVING....not crawling exactly yet, but he's figured out how to use his feet and massive legs to slightly push himself towards something, that is much progress, believe it or not, and now we're finding him standing in his crib, walking all around it playing with his mobile, animals, etc. rather than taking his naps because he's so excited he knows how to pull himself up and can get around in there, who has time for sleep? Not Mason lately...he's wearing out his already exhausted mommy! but he's doing so great...it's getting more and more fun seeing his personality come out....waiving to strangers in the store, reaching for his grandparents, squawking at his daddy to get his attention then hiding from him when he actually comes towards him...it's the best thing being parents. We are having such an amazing time!

Secondly, I just have to say how much I love being a part of our church. We are so blessed God brought us to Palm Valley. Greg's message this week was so awesome to hear and I just felt God's presence in such a special way. I've learned so much through this series, "life hurts, God heals"...and things that will change my perspective on so many different levels. I have to say, I feel lucky that I haven't experienced some of the hurt I know is out there and has to be so damaging, but there has been some damaging hurt in my life and for the first time really learning how to put that past my selfish perspective and see the big picture through God's eyes has been more helpful than I realized. God is doing great things through Palm Valley, and I feel so blessed we are there. Thank you God, for our family, our friends, our church, the awesome people we serve with and have so much fun with. I don't ever want to take that for granted!

Brent....you rock my socks off...a BIG THANKS to you for all the slack you've been picking up around the house as I've been a lazy piece of poo. (i can't tell you really enough how thankful I am for your help...i MEAN it so much) I am lucky to have you for a husband in more than one thousand ways! your bday is coming up and i'm so excited for our saturday together! I took the day off work so brent and i could SLLLLEEEEEPPPP IIIIINNNNNN! we haven't done that in one year. and MAN that is one thing you miss after a while, not that we'd trade mason in for that by all means, but having one day to sleep as long as we want...HEAVENLY.

NOW...I have to tell everyone how great our family is! I am so excited that nearly everyone lives here in ARIZONA! It's just so much fun being able to get together whenever we want...have the chance for lunch dates, babysitting, family parties, game nights. That is one thing that I didn't think would happen so soon anyway...and we're sure lucky it has!!! (Mason just told me things will be perfect when Aunt Shannon and Uncle Vaka move here...and i agreed!) we can't wait for that.Mason loves his overnights at mimi and grandpa's and gets to have his first one at grams and pops this weekend....YAH! he's excited. our family are some of our best friends and i couldn't imagine it any other way. I LOVE YOU KRIEGERS, HODGES AND TAIMANIS! :)

May is going to be exciting but BUSY...Mother's day, Mason and Ryan's dedication, Mason's birthday...granny and grandpa will be staying here at our house for at least a week maybe three, hAHA who knows....but it's going to be lots of fun...get ready...hopefully I'll have my energy back and will be keeping some food down by then....but I should because I'm twelve weeks today, I think, according to brent, i need to call a dr. mine just moved out of state, how sad. I really should make an appointment soon! YIKES.

I think that's about the lastest...had to get you all caught up! I love you, ALL! jess
