our baby is one year old.....

I'm not sure I'm ready for this post...but tomorrow I must face reality as our precious bundle turns one year old. How can I be mentally prepared for this moment? I'm not sure I am or will be, the few weeks leading up to this day have been an emotional roller coaster for me...I'm so proud of Mason and how much he's grown and how far he's come in the first year of his life. I just can NOT believe that a year has really gone by. I know my last post was full of mushy mommy talk so I'll try to keep this one under control...

Tomorrow, we're waking up with a turnover cake :) with one candle for Mason and mommy and daddy will give him his birthday present before daddy goes to work, then Sunday we'll be having his party...I just can't believe it was a year ago tomorrow Mason was brought into this world...it sometimes seems like yesterday and other days it feels like a year ago for sure :) here are some of my favorite things about Mason right now...

**he gives kisses and snuggles
**his little smirk and wave
**how excited he gets to see you...LOVE this
**he's STARTING to try to crawl...it only took one year...:) heheh
**his mischievous grin while walking around the walls of the house exploring
**his giggle
**his reaching for everything he wants to see...so cute...while saying 'baaaaaaa'
**when he hands me books to read to him
**when he reads to himself...so cute!
**how he loves to play catch...he's got an arm

okay, I'll stop...Mason Isaac, your mommy and daddy love you so much and can't believe that you are ONE year old. we hope you have the best birthday a one year old can have, we look forward to many many more years of amazing memories just like this past year. We love you, son. Happy Birthday, buddy!!! Love Mommy and Daddy
