new year....fun changes...

well, ever since we moved to arizona i've been working at "melissa and co" salon and have really enjoyed my time there. I just recently decided to start a new job, doing hair at salon "defiance" which is a salon with individual suites. After working at Melissa and Co. for almost 4 years now...it was bittersweet today talking with Melissa and Lorraine (the other owner) about leaving. I was very impressed and thankful with how the situation was handled. Some tears were shed on both of our ends and I was even told I can always come back and work there again if it doesn't work out for me at the new salon....I was told to take as long as i needed to finish up here, etc. I felt very appreciated and loved and am going to miss working with some of the girls here...but am also excited about this new beginning and a fresh start somewhere new. My first day there will be January fifth...so here's to change! something we all know I'm NOT very good at handling...but I am excited and relieved today went so well, thanks to lots of prayers.
