God really was talking to me about one of the songs we sang this weekend at church, "all we need"...I feel as if I've been SO blessed in my life with our amazing family (one I wouldn't trade for anything!!!), friends whom we love, a home to live in, laughter, health...I could go on and on. I felt like God was asking me this weekend...would you be okay if ALL of that was taken from you...our treasures aren't here on earth, although our relationships are important and our children are our world...JESUS really is all we need...what if everything else wasn't here? would I be okay? would I really be okay? or am I not as fully grounded in Jesus as I should be....I'm striving to be all I can be for Him, but I felt like today, God was telling me, "Jessica...give me EVERYTHING" your husband, your boys, your relationships, your life is mine...I know Jesus has blessed me beyond belief but today I've come to the realization that none of it is really mine, and I've always known that in my mind...I just feel as if today, my heart has come to a new understanding of what that really means and...it's all His and I need to be all his as well...HE really is all I need. Thank you, Jesus for reminding me how profound and in depth these simple words really are...

Jess, you are such an example to me of a strong Christian wife and mother....keep sharing what God is teaching you, because you surely are helping to teach those around you! I love you, my bestest! Mason with the sucker is hysterical. Cam calls that thing a booger. Ha! I so wish we could get our kids together for a date....they would LOVE eachother! I'm impressed with your seasame street artistic ability, too! :) Things are starting to get normal around here and Camden is going back to school tomorrow, so I will give you a call! Much more managable to talk for a few when he's gone! Ha! :) Love you Jess!
It is so good to read your blogs and know what is going on with your family way out there! I miss you SOOO profoundly! Yu made me cry with this blog:) I'm am so grateful and awed that our God is so good to keep teaching and loving us.
